“Masqueradeof the Griffin” - Historical Speculative Fiction Excerpt

"Domenico jumped back as he saw hiswatcher glide down. It was nothing Domenico had ever seen before. The creaturelooked not quite human, with a masquerade helmet resembling a griffin on itshead. The hue of its winged cape was deep violet, purer than what even thePapacy could get. It walked upright, slowly approaching but stopping short of Domenico.

“Whoare you, and what do you want from me, creature?” Domenico asked.

“Iam what you see, and I seek Lomi,” the creature replied softly."

Viaggio - Fictional World Guidebook Excerpt

"To prepare for the monsters that visit the households, the parents or guardians of the household’s children will dress them up to look like what the child fears most to pay respect to the monsters.

Like in the legends however, the children are ultimately in power as they are told to scare the visiting monsters into gifting presents to each household as children were deemed the scariest monsters by the ruler of monsters."

The Capture of Fort Ticonderoga - Historical Fiction Comic Excerpt

Panel 7

In a full wide shot of Ethan, he looks furious. The glowing yellow light from the window can be seen shining across Ethan, making his appearance more intimidating as he kicks the door another time, putting a hole through the bottom part of the door. In the background, the Green Mountain Boys look hyped at the sight of Ethan's fury. Benedict appears speechless.

ETHAN: DID I STUTTER? OPEN IN THE NAME OF THE GREAT JEHOVAH AND THE CONTINENTAL CONGRESS.

SFX: CRRRAACCCK! (Doorbeing kicked.)

Panel 1

In a medium frontal shot, the panel is a little dark as Benedict adds a little to Ethan's comment. Some of the Green Mountain Boys look on in disgust; the one next to Benedict facepalms himself. Benedict looks pompous as he blurted this out for his own ego's sake.

BENEDICT: And General Benedict Arnold.

MOUNTAIN BOY #2: Shhhhhh!

SFX: Ugggggggghhh… (moans from other Green Mountain Boys)
