Biography


Joshua Walls (b. 2000, Atlanta, Georgia) is a Photographer and Writer who travels, documents, and photographs
unique and unexplored corners of North America and Europe. His travel knowledge is extensive, having visited 21
countries and 22 U.S. states and territories. He interned in Dublin, Ireland, in 2023 at the Olivier Cornet Art Gallery
and spent Summer 2022 in Florence, Italy, researching the impacts of over-tourism. He currently lives and works in Sarasota, Florida, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Studies with concentrations in Photography and Imaging, Creative Writing, and Art History. He is expected to graduate in Spring 2024.


Joshua has interviewed Irish artist Mark Newman for Olivier Cornet’s 2023 Summer exhibition, New York Times Bestselling Author Toni Buzzeo as an associate assistant for OnlyPictureBooks.com, and Samuel “Uncle Kage” Conway as the Podcast Host for Fluff It. Recently, a series of his travel photographs were part of the Souvenirs exhibition at Crossley Gallery in Sarasota, while his photography piece, “Roadside with Wilma,” has been featured in the Gregory Harris 2022 Selects Juried Exhibition in Atlanta, Georgia.


Joshua’s creative works involve his experiences with Travel, often fusing multiple genres to create compelling stories
in hopes of increasing awareness of our world through impactful characters. Joshua hopes to continue his work after
graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design as he continues his education at the University of York in
England, pursuing an MA in Cultural Heritage Management.
